Who Really Rules: Prince Valsil already sees to most of the day-to-day ruler ship, though the King still enforces his will on major decisions. Valsil (Hm, F3 dualed to P9 of Berenash, NE) is as or more brilliant a tactician than his father, as well as being quite skilled at intrigue and a secret priest of Berenash. Major Products: Dalsun rum, lumber, and ships
Armed Forces: 500 to 1,000 men will be stationed here at any given time. 300 citizens belong to a militia that patrols the surrounding country side (most of them are debtors working of debts). The watch is 250 strong, and is led by High ShieldMistress Devana Swifthand (Hf, P10 Cuvanill, LG)

Alcides Du Cargnian (Hm, Inv18, LN) One of the most feared and respected men in all of Dalsundria. Founder and leader of the Stormclaw mercenaries, he has recently won a seat on the council of lords. Some folk wonder if the crown might not soon rest upon the brow of this powerful and enigmatic man.
Travis Triel (Hm, Ench7, NE) Close "friend" of Prince Valsil, He has his own plans for the throne, and has a semi-legitimate claim to the throne if Valsil should meet an unfortunate demise before producing an heir.
Miles (Hm, Alchemist7, LG) a kindly middle aged man who owns and runs a small apothecaries shop.

Temples: being one of Dalsundria's political and commercial hub, Dalze is home to many religions.

The Silken Cloak Festhall: (fine/expensive) Favored by rich merchants and noble brats, the Silken Cloak specializes in the hosting of large parties and has many large banquet halls for rental.
Brimm's Stories Are Told: (good/cheap) cozy little inn and tavern, ran by a good natured but absent minded innkeeper. The food and ale is excellent, though the rooms are a bit drafty.
The Rusty Anchor: (moderate/moderate) quiet little dockside tavern frequented mostly by old men and retired sailors.
The Burning Wizard: (mod/cheap) good tavern for the drink, but little else. Serves no food but keeps runners available. Has a strict no wizards policy, any mage who looks the part has been warned to stay away, that is unless he can back up a few threats.
The Broken Mast: (poor/cheap) Average rowdy dockside tavern, please dump the unconscious bodies outside when ya leave

Shops and Services:
Knight's Envy: Blazoner; typical prices 60gp for modest enamel work, 100gp for sewn banner. Ran by a trio of old women, their work is extremely high quality.
Bent Bows: Archery shop; prices 125% normal, discounts for bulk purchases. Ran by master Fletcher Samuel Townsend.
Travis' Stables: Mounts and tack; you'll get exactly the kind of mount that proprietor Travis Sanders says you will, though he drives a hard bargain.

Andorr's Mill: Mill; prices 75% normal. Fine woods and lumber. Ran by Andorr, a portly and affable man.
Silver Hammer Smithy: Armor and weapons; 125% normal cost though extremely fine workmanship. The proprietor Tarron Silverhammer is a true master (he is also a priest of Balaxa), and has just constructed the first suit of plate mail to be manufactured in Dalsundria using an ancient and badly damaged suit as a guide. He is reluctant to share this creation with anyone, however, not wanting the knowledge to fall into the hands of the next king, Valsil.

Notable Characters:
Laurana Aislic (1/2ef, Bard2, NG) known as the kings living lullaby, stays in Dalze for her love of the king. She holds no love for Valsil or Travis Triel. Her life would be in danger if Valsil new she was actually the daughter of King Elgrel's deceased first son Leoric.
Rook (Hm, F9, CE) Valsil's "friend" and personal strong-arm, his talent with the claymore is infamous.
Alagorn, Captain of the Watch (Hm, P5 of Sunastion, CG) Recent addition to the watch captains. A zealous and heroic man, hugely muscled and wise beyond his years.
Mirentar Snee (1/2orc m, Th6, NE) Local fence, this human appearing 1/2 orc is in Valsil's pocket.
Corrith the Skull Breaker (Hm, F7 18/95 str, NG) a giant of a man, and obviously of chirooknar descent. He is the owner and proprietor of the Broken Mast. One of the many citizens who dread the day Valsil comes to power. One of the few who might try to do something about it.
