Berenash is responsible for state the world is in now. He was the 12th emporer of the Sardonian empire, were the emporers were worshipped as divne emissaries. Berenash was not content with belief in his divinity, he wanted true power. Legend says that when mortals believe enough in the truth of something this belief shapes reality. Berenash took steps to obtain two objects, the Scepter and Crown of Her'Namearr two objects said to hold the powers beyond imagination. With these items he turned the adulation of his people into the reverance reserved only for Gods. With this and the artifacts he held, he ascended into the ranks of the divine. The balance of the world was tipped, war ravaged the land, famine swept the fields, and the world knew the meaning of strife. Berenash, using the items he held and his new found divinity, siezed the powers of many of the minor gods of evil adding it to his own. It was not until the attention of both Sekoon, greatest of the gods of evil, and Wotan mightiest of the gods of good, acted to stop his rampage. They stripped him of much of his power and impressed upon him the laws that bind all deities in their actions.

Strife Lords may heal themselves only once a day for 2 pts per level 1/day 

They may command undead 

In the hands of a Strife Lord rods of rulership affect double the number of hit dice, at twice the range. All save victims make are at a -2 

3rd level: Rod of Berenash (aka mace of Xvim) 1/day 

5th level: suggestion 1/day 

7th level: phantasmal killer or reaving blades 1/day 

9th level: lesser geas 1/day 

10th level: the Strife Lord may now make use of his healing ability 3/day

15th level: entropy shield 1/day 

17th level: gate 1/month 

20th level: binding 2/month
