Many people have complained that the Player's Option rules system is overbalanced and allows unscrupulous players to create min-maxed super characters.  When used correctly this is simply not true, and in fact the system can add quite a bit to most games. It allows players to create unique and interesting characters and ends the hum drums of playing the same plate mail wearing, long sword using fighters. Here I will list a few tips that will help novice and experienced DM's alike who may have had problems with this system.
